Downtown Development District Urban Park

The Hammond Downtown Development District commissioned Dufreche-Perkins & Associates to develop a master plan for a downtown urban park.

As envisioned by the planning team, the park would act as a formal urban space located in central downtown Hammond.

The program requirements for the project were to create an urban space, that in conjunction with street closures, would be a central gathering area for downtown street parties and festivals.
