The Whites approached Dufreche-Perkins and Associates with a wish for a pool and surroundings which would seamlessly integrate into their existing yard and landscaping. A traditionally proportioned pool was conceived, with a fountain-wall and landscaping element to visually anchor the design.

Strict attention was paid to the scale and proportion of the pool area, as it was not intended to dominate the yard visually. A careful balance was achieved, providing the owners with a modestly scaled entertaining and recreational area, which makes ample use of previous improvements made to the property.
